4th grade Shadow Days will take place on May 12, 13, 14, and 19th.  Uffelman’s fourth grade classes will shadow the 5th grade students of BMS for one entire day.  We are looking forward to having these students join us for a day.
Burks Middle School will be hosting the Putnam County Board of Education Town Meeting for the Monterey community on Monday, May 5th at 6pm in the BMS Auditorium.  The Board of Education members, Dr. Airhart, and district supervisors will discuss current issues such as 2008-2009 School Budget, PK-8 Registration, and Zoning.  We invite all parents and community members to attend an informative evening.
