Hi! I'm Amelia Guenther and I have the blessed opportunity to teach Kindergarten at Burks this year! This is my eleventh year teaching. I previously taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Northeast Elementary in Cookeville. I live in Muddy Pond with my husband Bryon. We have a son named Hudson who turned three in May. We love spending time as a family by gardening, going to worship, reading, and cooking together.
My love for teaching began when I was a little girl in Kindergarten. I would come home from a day at school and reenact the entire day with my sister at home. I started "teaching at 5" and have known ever since I wanted to be a teacher! I absolutely love getting to know my students and their families and I am beyond excited to be a panther!!!

Hello! My name is Caitlin Dillon. I am a Putnam County native. I graduated from TTU this spring with honors! I will be joining the first grade team at Burks this year. I recently completed my residency at this school. Burks has felt like home from day one. I have learned so much from my mentors here. I am very excited to be working along side of some of the best teachers in Putnam County. I have always had a love for teaching. I come from a long line of teachers in my family. Teaching is my passion, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be at this wonderful school. I have a two year old son, and he is the light of mine and husband's life. We enjoy lake weekends and swimming. I have loved spending my summer with him, but I'm excited to get back into the first grade groove!
Let's go Panthers!
